Teryyl Johnson has had a successful career as a Financial Advisor for almost 30 years. She worked for over half of her career advising her clients at Morgan Stanley. She also worked with Wells Fargo Private Client Services Group and a small Registered Investment Advisory firm. Her passion for helping people and her expertise has gravitated her naturally towards her niche of helping people in transition. She has excelled in helping her clients find their way to financial peace, after dealing with a life changing event. She has now chosen to concentrate solely on helping people come to an agreement on a financially fair settlement and spending less money on the divorce process. Having been through a divorce herself she knows how important both of these elements are to her clients.

She is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) and became a mediator through the Alternative Dispute Resolution Center at Hamline Law. She  founded and is the owner of Divorce Financial Directions. She also understands the importance of making educated financial decisions during the divorce process, since most of the decisions you make at this time you may have to live with for the rest of your life. Most settlement decisions are permanent once they become record. Many times what looks FAIR at first glance may in fact be totally unfair when analyzed with an eye to the future.
